In association with the National Immunisation Conference, the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA) run a series of awards and grant programs which are awarded at the Conference.

PHAA National Immunisation Achievement Award - Nominations now open

The Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA), in 2008, awarded the inaugural National Immunisation Achievement Award to honour and recognise outstanding service in the field of immunisation/vaccine preventable diseases. This Award is designed to be the Association’s pre-eminent prize in the field of immunisation/vaccine preventable diseases and will be bestowed once every two years in conjunction with the PHAA National Immunisation Conference. 

GSK Immunisation Grants 2018 - Now Closed

 

 

 

 

In 2018 the GSK Immunisation Grants will be managed by the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA) as part of the 16th National Immunisation Conference to be held in Adelaide from the 5th -7th June 2018.

Four grants of $20,000 each, will be awarded to support innovation programs of activity that clearly aim to meet one or more of the criteria in either childhood, adolescent and/or adult vaccines.

2018 Aileen Plant Memorial Prize in Infectious Diseases Epidemiology

The Aileen Prize Memorial Prize will be awarded annually for a first author paper by an Australian researcher, published in the previous calendar year in a peer-reviewed medical journal in the area of infectious diseases epidemiology. The prize consists of AU $2000 and a certificate.
